Zordan's Racing Quarter Midget Team - 2011
Welcome Race Fans,
Zordan’s Racing is changing gears, I’m not exactly handing the torch off yet, but little miss (Samantha) Zordan and Mr. (Joshua) Zordan will be taking over some of the driving duties for Zordan’s Racing. For the past few years Samantha and Joshua have done a lot of practicing and racing on my home-built, banked clay oval track. Since the age of 5, both kids have learned the ins and outs of racing, including learning how to build, fix and drive race cars. In their first day of racing quarter midgets, they both won races and were forced to move from the rookie class to the senior/veteran class. As Rookies, this was a big honor. While I hoped to keep them in the rookie class to gain experience and confidence, the talent that these kids have was just too much to keep them with the rookies. They will learn so much more from racing with the veterans than dominating the field of Rookies!. I know they will struggle at the beginning, because they are racing against kids that have been racing quarter midgets for years and years but this will only make them better and make them try harder. The equipment that was purchased by Zordan’s Racing for quarter midget racing was intended for rookie style racing as starter cars. As racing progresses, I see a need to update the equipment and purchase better motors, so any sponsors that would like to get involved with these young stars, would really help their racing careers. And if there are potential parents out there that would like to get their kids involved in a great family sport, contact me for some affordable starter equipment.
