Zordan's Racing Sponsors

Auto racing is the number one spectator sport in the country. Circle track stock cars are becoming more and more popular. Our team is coming to you with a chance to join a winning operation. We would like you to consider stock car racing for your advertising campaign in 2008.  Sponsor Zordan's Racing

Welcome

Welcome to the new website for Mike Zordan Racing. Take a look around and be sure to visit often as the new racing season gets set to start.

Welcome race fans, racers and friends. This is a letter to inform everybody "what is up" with "Zordan's Racing", and the plans for our future. I also hope to clear up any rumors and maybe stop some from starting. I have been involved in racing for over 28 years, with the last 16 years were spent actively driving. I started helping on my dad's enduro car that Dave Allen drove when I was 10 years old. In 1992 I founded Zordan's Racing and started driving a factory stock that I built. I raced every week for points and won a couple championships. After losing a child in 1998, shortly after being born, my priorities changed. Just as life is, God will take some and leave some, so after my next two kids were born, I made a promise to my family and myself, life is so precious and racing will never take a front position ahead of family and what really matters. Racing is still a major part of my life. It's in my blood and is a passion of mine. Since 1998, I have raced just as hard as ever. But racing is more than just driving a car on the weekend. I couldn't race every week and commit to a hectic 4 or 5 days a week, preparing a car and racing it every weekend, or the draining of my pocketbook.

In 2002 I met an awesome friend, Steve Brown. Just as passionate as me about racing and we shared the same priorities. We started racing together and formed an awesome race team. Steve understood 'family first' and so we split our work load and raced part time. Racing with Steve was probably the best time I had in racing and a little easier on my pocket book.

I have two great kids and they are at an age where I cannot miss the ball games, soccer games, dance recitals. Both of my kids love to race too, and I cannot miss going go-kart racing with them either. I built a small clay dirt circle track behind my house to race against them. In 2009 I plan to spend more time with my kids while coaching their ball team, so racing will slow down for me.

I want to take the time to say "thank you" to all of the people that have helped me in the past. Thanks to Steve Brown (awesome car owner), Richard Rieter (awesome crew chief), my Mom and Dad, wife and all of my friends and family. Racing is still a passion, and you might see me from time to time in a race car. I also have a personal race car that I have built for Hartford Speedway which is just a few miles from my house, so any sponsors interested call me, just a part time deal though.

Thanks again Mike Zordan
